The Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival has set its 2027 date: Saturday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival takes over the village of Elmvale in Springwater Township each spring, usually on the last weekend of April.
The sugar shack is inside the Elmvale Arena gates, and a tour of Lalonde's Sugarbush is listed as free. To get there from Highway 400, follow Bayfield Street (County Road 27) north from Barrie about 20 km to Queen Street in Elmvale.
The festival website doesn't list admission or the full 2027 program yet. Check back closer to spring for parking and schedule details.
