Winterama is Penetanguishene's annual winter carnival and one of the oldest in Ontario. The 2027 edition is the 79th. Past years have included a parade, outdoor vendors at the Town Dock area and cold-weather contests on the waterfront.

The festival is set for Saturday, February 13, and Sunday, February 14, 2027, at the start of the Family Day long weekend. The town says the full schedule of activities will be posted closer to the date.

Event buttons are sold for $3 in advance (at Town Hall, the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum and the library) or $5 at the event. Penetanguishene is about 50 minutes from Wasaga Beach.
