Wasaga Beach marks Remembrance Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11, with a public service at Town Hall on Lewis Street. The ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. and is expected to run about an hour.
The program includes wreath-laying, a moment of silence and words of remembrance. Afterward, everyone is invited to a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion, and a free shuttle runs there from Town Hall.
The Town's Remembrance Day page also mentions its Hometown Heroes veteran banners, a project with the Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach. The service is free and open to everyone.
