The day before Remembrance Day, the Wasaga Beach Public Library hosts "Veteran Voices: Perspectives of Military Service" on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Local veterans Marc Seguin and Pamela Edwards will compare their careers in the Canadian Armed Forces. They'll cover what they had in common, like training and leadership, and how things such as gender shaped their deployments and experiences. They'll also talk about military family life and adjusting after leaving the service.
The program is aimed at adults. Check the library's event page for registration details.
