The Town of Wasaga Beach is giving away pumpkins on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from noon to 6 p.m. at Oakview Woods Park, beside the RecPlex. Pumpkins go out first come, first served while the supply lasts.
The idea is to take one home, carve it, and bring it back on Sunday, Nov. 1, between noon and 4 p.m., so it can be lit up along the Oakview Woods Trail for that evening's Pumpkin Trail walk. Residents can also drop off pumpkins they bought themselves.
